Graham’s Restaurant in Glacier serves a limited menu of good, hearty food in a rustic setting befitting an eating establishment on the edge of a National Forest. Their main dining room contains long plank tables, wood chairs and a pot belly stove. Sodas are self-serve and there are napkin dispensers on the tables. In the same room, segregated by a low wall, is a turn-of-the-century mirrored bar where they serve an assortment of hard liquor, beer and wine. Adjacent to the dining room is a pool table and a unisex bathroom. The service has always been great here, even when busy, and from time to time, they have live music acts.
The dining room is usually filled with local backwoods hippies from Glacier, skiers off the slops of Mt. Baker, hikers destined for the national forest and lean spandex wearing bicyclists ascending highway 542 (Mt. Baker highway).
On Saturday and Sunday, they serve breakfast from 8am to 12am. During the morning they serve eggs, sausage, pancakes, homemade egg benedict, and biscuits and gravy along with home fries. The biscuits are homemade and their biscuits and gravy are famous. All the plates come out heaping with carbohydrates.
The lunch and dinner menu consists of burgers, steak, BBQ pork, along with Fish and Chips meals come with regular or sweet potato fries. However, the off-menu specials consist of northwest fresh fusion cuisine and change constantly with the season.
Graham's is one of those hole-in-the-wall joints that fit perfectly into a tiny one-street logging and mining town.
Right on the Mt. Baker Highway in downtown Glacier.
