Bellingham’s unique "House of Music", with a stunning range of bands on offer, capacity for over 300, full bar and menu, and intelligently renovated interior - is a must stop for anyone after good sounds, dancing, tasty brews, cool atmosphere, and local vibe.
Bringing some of the best live music in town, well known for its blues jams and open mike nights, the Wild Buffalo offers -- just for example! -- jazz, blues, swing, rock & roll, R&B, salsa, funk, celtic rock reggae, soul, folk rock, world music, etc., with featured performers who range from up-and-coming to seasoned groups, and from local to national. Check on the excellent website for current weekly schedule, bands, and (reasonable) cover charges. Arrive early for happy hour or for a meal before the main show, which generally starts around 9 p.m.
The impressive interior of the Wild Buffalo has an easy flow to its space: table seating options near the stage and dance floor, or further away on the other side of the bar for conversation, stools at the lovely circular shaped coppered bar or at a second matching curved bar. There is more seating (and a pool table) on the upper floor looking down on the stage and dance floor, and outside seating on the sidewalk for summer evenings. Lots of fun for the eye to absorb, clouds painted on ceilings, art work on the exposed brick walls, textured art on the stage side of the venue, the high DJ stand with its unique necktie collection above it, killer sweatshirts and T’s for sale. Nice clean restrooms, fresh flowers even!
At least ten microbrews on draft provide a choice for everyone’s taste, from pilsner to India Pale. Also bottled beers, hard cider, a decent range of wines by the glass or bottle, and cocktails. Food service includes includes fresh appetizers, salads, stone-fired pizzas/calzones, (choose from the menu or BYO, vegetarian choices throughout) and desserts. Try the Thai Chicken Pizza, with its pleasant mildly tangy peanut flavor, or the White Buffalo pizza (fresh garlic, feta, provolone and mozzarella) and for salads the Savory (chevre) Cheesecake salad.
On its way to becoming a Bellingham icon, the Wild Buffalo owes its continuing success to a combination of a music savvy playlist, a well planned space, and a people friendly atmosphere. Come and enjoy.

Finally!! A smoke free dance club in Bellingham. And this one really rocks! Especially when local bands like "From The Hip" are playing. Great choice of beers and music to dance to. A lot of fun!

In the 20 years I have been
entertaining NW audiences,
I have never been so elated
with a venue!
The ReDUX and their dancing
fans had the most rapturous
time at the glorious Buffalo!
Please support this cool gig
You will LOVE it!
