This establishment is ideal for young riders. Not only will they gain riding skills, but also stable management knowledge -- grooming and tacking up. Both English and Western lessons are offered at $14 per hour for group lessons, no more than seven riders in a group. Kelly Park Stables is also heavily involved in 4-H and runs a summer camp for young riders -- 2 ½ hours in the morning for $100 per week. Adult beginning riders are also welcome and lessons are offered for adults in the late afternoon early evening. It may be best to start out in the fall once the busy summer day camp season and 4-H shows are over. This stable offers the ideal introduction to the world of horses, from here you can decide how you want to specialize and then maybe move onto an establishment such as Carousel Farms for more specialized training.

I Love Kelly!I have been to a lot of barns at birthday parties etc... and this one is by far the best! it is always clean..well as clean as you can get for a barn. and all of the kids and adults are very nice and friendly. the horses are well behaved and the lessons are always fun to go to and when you go to Kelly you learn something everyday!

Kelly is the best place to ride! My first lesson there I had never even been on a horse, and now Ive galloped on one. Bear is my favorite horse, he makes it so easy to put the bridle on, and he is a really fast horse. Kelly Park Stables is the place to ride!!!!!!!!!!

I love Kelly Park, i started out with the camp, and loved it. Then i got into lessons, and learned lots. I fell in love with Dundee :) I have rode scamps, noble, shads, dundee, misty, and more. Some people were rude, but i still loved being there.

I loved going to Kelly Park Stables until I realized how mean the people were, not all of them were mean but it wasn't very fun to be around them. But besides the rude people, I must admit the teachers knew what they were doing and I learned a lot.

I also grew up going to Kelly Park with Claire as my instructor. I went there for about 5 years, sold my horse, finished high school and although i do not still board a horse at Kelly Park i am going to school to get my bachelors in equine studies and when i was told i needed a trainer to interview and job shadow i knew exactly who i wanted, Claire. This place is the best and claire has ran this place for years with ease. thanks claire.

Kelly Park stables is the place to be if you're a horse obsessed kid in Whatcom county!! I grew up there, with Claire as my instructor for many years. She truly loves the animals and teaching young equestrians. I have since moved on to pursue a more advanced level of showing horses but will always owe credit to this establishment. :)
